We pride ourselves on our craftsmanship and only use quality, low maintenance materials to achieve a high quality finish that will stand the test of time.

Here's what an MJB summer house includes:

• Main Frame: 3" x 2" timber frame
• Base: 3" x 2" tanalised timber with 18mm OSB boards
• Style of Roof: Apex or Pent sloping roof
• Roof Frame: 3" x 2" tanalised struts and 18mm OSB boards
• Roof Material & Finish: Textured and painted fibreglass roof
• Outer Walls: 18mm match board cladding
• Windows: As many as required with 8mm toughened glass panes
• Doors: Double doors with handles, Yale lock & bolts
• Door Glass: 8mm toughened glass panes
• External Finishes: Corner beading and fascias

We also offer some alternative materials and optional extras for added comfort and to meet your specific requirements:

• Roof material: We recommend a fibreglass roof for longevity, weather-resistance and low maintenance, however if you would like a traditional felt roof, we offer that too.
• Outer walls: 25mm gate board cladding also available.
• Toughened glass for doors and windows: 10mm also available.
• Flooring: Your choice of laminate flooring or other flooring can be laid on top of the standard 18mm OSB boards.
• Internal cladding, beading & skirting boards: 18mm match board or 25mm gate board cladding conceals the frame and any additional electrical wiring.
• Insulation: If you think you may be using your summer house at different times of the year and in all weathers, wall and roof insulation with internal cladding are a must.
• Electrical installations: Your choice of electric points, sockets, internal and external lighting - specified and installed by our professionally certified electrician.
• Verandas & Decking:  Depending on the location of your summer house you may also like to include some additional outdoor space in your design such as a built-in veranda with overhanging roof. As a decking specialist, we can also provide additional outdoor living areas such as decked platforms or full decking with steps, handrail and spindles/glass panels.
